It is important to maintain the countries survive in dealing with the current development of the advancing technologies and worldwide strategic competitions. Governments in Asia provide education development programs in order to enhance the quality of life of people. The attainment of such an intention requires various systematic education development programs that have to be designed and applied by educational institutions in particular the schools, colleges, and universities. One of the significant programs highlighted by the team in the conference committee is the improvement of educational management component. This is assumed to be a critical factor that needs to be designed through developing the models of the effective schooling systems and educational leadership. Issues of the access and quality of education also become major problems. Access to education in some Asian countries is reported as the prominent issues. Institutional and operational problems challenge management or leaders and other practitioners to inventing and developing education systems which appropriately work within the local and international contexts. Effective education management will require a pattern of systematic efforts handled by policy makers and educational leaders both at the central and regional levels. The factors that are predicted to influencing the success of education programs must be considered in designing the quality improvement programs. These also need systematic efforts of the government and societies to ensure the designed programs can be carried out successfully.
In order to explore the appropriate models of the educational development strategies, thus, it is necessary to initiate a conference under the theme: “The challenges of Education Management and Administration in Global and Local Era“. This will be a potential forum where educational experts, practitioners and professionals can share their knowledge and experiences to explore the strategies in dealing with the changing issues of the global education.
